I want to believe in any cream, gel, pill, or other product that will help in getting rid of cellulite wherever it might be on your body, but it is almost just putting a band aid on the troubled are. This kind of makes sense but I am not an expert to back this idea up and call it fact.

I feel the best remedy for cellulite is to work out on a regular basis and focus on your problem areas. The next advice I would give is to watch what you eat. It always doesn’t hurt to do that!

It may surprise you that portion control is a step in keeping your cellulite count down. Portions these days are so out of control it’s hard to know what a good healthy portion is. Here are some tips that can help you better at keeping your portions down. Choosing the right plate size can be a significant help instead of reaching for the normal dinner plate. For a good start in plate sizes, fill your food on a salad plate that is smaller. What this method brings is that it will mentally help you feel more satisfied yet it helps you not to eat as much and feel full sooner into your meals. When dishing yourself use a tablespoon to fill up your smaller plate with your food. A study showed that people who used a 3 oz spoon shoveled out 20% more food than those who only used a smaller 2 oz spoon to dish it out.

Another idea in giving yourself a head start to losing weight is by changing your centerpiece. One test that was done with some obese people was they had them smell a green apple, banana, or an after dinner mint lost an average of 50 pounds over a 6 month period. So the idea behind changing out your centerpiece is by swapping out those flowers for a bowl of green apples may help you lose weight. Also by changing the colors in your kitchen to blue will help significantly. Blue is thought to be natural appetite suppressant. People who ate in a blue room ate up to 40% less calories than the people who ate in a yellow or red room. Take this idea and change the colors out so you eat less calories.
